Dry roast 250 grams of sesame seeds (til) in a pan on low flame until they turn golden brown and aromatic. Keep stirring to avoid burning. Once done, transfer them to a plate and let them cool.

In the same pan, add 200 grams of grated jaggery (gur) and cook on low flame until it melts completely. Keep stirring to avoid burning.

Once the jaggery has melted, add the roasted sesame seeds to the pan and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame, ensuring the mixture is well combined.

Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down slightly, but not completely. It should still be warm enough to handle.

Grease your palms with a little ghee or oil. Take a small portion of the warm sesame-jaggery mixture and shape it into a round ladoo. Repeat this process until all the mixture is used up.
