Strawberry Pastry
Strawberry pastry is a delightful dessert that combines the sweetness of strawberries with the softness of a fluffy cake, topped with a layer of creamy frosting. Ingredients: Strawberry, Unsalted butter, Maida, Bura, Baking powder, Eggs, Vanilla extract, Ice cream, Salt, Sugar

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and line a 20 cm square cake tin with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine 200 grams of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

In another bowl, whisk together 200 grams of sugar and 200 grams of softened unsalted butter until light and fluffy. Add 4 eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely.

While the cake is cooling, prepare the frosting by whipping 200 grams of heavy cream with 50 grams of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

Once the cake is cooled, slice it horizontally into two equal layers. Spread a layer of frosting on the bottom layer and arrange sliced strawberries on top. Place the second layer of cake on top and spread a thin layer of frosting over the entire cake.

Decorate the top of the cake with more sliced strawberries and serve.
