Heat 1/2 cup of butter in a saucepan over low heat.

Add 3/4 cup of thawed chopped frozen spinach to the melted butter and cook for about 1 minute until warmed.

Pour 1 pint of heavy whipping cream into the saucepan.

Add 3 tablespoons of cream cheese to the spinach mixture.

Cook and stir the mixture until the cream cheese is melted, which should take about 5 minutes.

Fold 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder into the spinach mixture.

Season the sauce with 1 pinch of ground salt and black pepper.
