Preheat a non-stick pan or tawa over medium heat.

Spread a thin layer of softened butter on one side of each sourdough bread slice.

Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on the preheated pan.

Evenly distribute 50 grams of grated cheese on each slice of bread in the pan. Add any additional fillings if desired.
