Wash and chop 250 grams of ripe plums into small pieces.
In a bowl, whisk 500 grams of fresh curd (yogurt) until smooth.
Add the chopped plums to the yogurt and mix well.
Add 1 teaspoon of roasted cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon of black salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder to the yogurt-plum mixture. Adjust the spices according to your taste.
Mix all the ingredients well and refrigerate the raita for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend.
Before serving, garnish the Plum Raita with a few fresh mint leaves and a sprinkle of chaat masala.
