Penne Pasta
Penne pasta is a delicious and versatile Italian dish that can be customized with various sauces and ingredients. It's a perfect meal for a cozy dinner or a family gathering. Boil 1 liter of water in a large pot. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of oil to the water.

Once the water is boiling, add 250 grams of penne pasta to the pot. Cook the pasta for 8-10 minutes or until al dente, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

While the pasta is cooking, heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add 1 finely chopped onion and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant.

Add 1 cup of chopped tomatoes and 1 teaspoon of red chili flakes to the pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes, until the tomatoes are soft and the sauce has thickened.

Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste. Optionally, you can add 1 teaspoon of dried basil or oregano for extra flavor.

Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the pan with the sauce. Toss the pasta and sauce together until well combined.

Serve the penne pasta hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil or parsley.
