Take 500 grams of fresh yogurt and place it in a muslin cloth. Tie the cloth and hang it over a bowl for 3-4 hours to drain the excess water and get thick, creamy hung curd.

In a blender, add 2 ripe peaches (peeled and chopped) and blend them into a smooth puree.

In a mixing bowl, combine the hung curd and peach puree. Mix well.

Add 100 grams of powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder, and a pinch of saffron strands soaked in 1 tablespoon of warm milk. Mix well until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth.

Refrigerate the peach shrikhand for at least 2 hours before serving.

Garnish with chopped almonds, pistachios, and a few peach slices before serving.
