Take 2 ripe peaches, wash them thoroughly, and peel off the skin. Chop the peaches into small cubes and set aside.
In a bowl, take 500 grams of fresh, thick curd (yogurt) and whisk it until smooth.
Add 1 teaspoon of roasted cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon of black salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar to the whisked curd. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
Gently fold in the chopped peaches into the curd mixture.
Refrigerate the peach raita for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
Before serving, garnish the raita with a few chopped mint leaves and a pinch of red chili powder (optional) for added flavor and color.
