Boil 1 litre of water in a saucepan and add 2-3 tea bags (preferably black tea) to it. Let it steep for 5-7 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool down to room temperature.
In a blender, add 2-3 ripe peaches (peeled and pitted) and blend until smooth.
Strain the peach puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove any large pieces.
In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea, peach puree, and 4-5 tablespoons of sugar (adjust according to taste). Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
Add 1-2 cups of ice cubes to the pitcher and stir.
Pour the peach ice tea into glasses, garnish with peach slices or mint leaves, and serve chilled.
