Peel and deseed 1 medium-sized ripe papaya (approximately 500 grams). Cut the papaya into small cubes.
In a blender, add the papaya cubes, 200 ml of chilled milk, 2 tablespoons of honey, and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. You can also add a few ice cubes for an extra chilled smoothie.
Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk and blend again until you reach the desired consistency.
Pour the papaya smoothie into glasses and garnish with a few mint leaves or a slice of papaya, if desired. Serve immediately.
