Place 2 slices of bacon in a large deep skillet.
Cook bacon over medium-high heat until evenly brown.
Drain the bacon, crumble it, and set it aside.
Remove bacon from the pan.
Sauté 450 grams of thawed, sliced, frozen okra, 1 small chopped onion, 1/2 chopped green bell pepper, and 2 chopped celery stalks until tender.
Add 1 can of stewed tomatoes, salt, and pepper to the pan.
Cook until the tomatoes are heated through.
Garnish the dish with crumbled bacon if desired.
