Mushroom And Goat Cheese Flatbread

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Clean and slice 200 grams of mushrooms (preferably button or cremini) and set aside.

In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 finely chopped onion and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent and the garlic is fragrant.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they release their moisture and become tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Roll out 500 grams of pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a thin, even layer. Transfer the rolled dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Spread 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce evenly over the rolled dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Top the flatbread with the cooked mushroom mixture, spreading it evenly. Crumble 100 grams of goat cheese over the mushrooms.

Bake the flatbread in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is slightly melted.

Remove the flatbread from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and a drizzle of olive oil before slicing and serving.
