Milk Cake
Milk Cake is a delicious Indian dessert made from milk and sugar, with a rich, grainy texture that melts in your mouth. Ingredients: Milk, Saffron, Cardamom powder, Sugar, Ghee

Take 1 liter of full-fat milk in a heavy-bottomed pan and bring it to a boil. Keep stirring occasionally to avoid burning at the bottom.

Once the milk starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and continue cooking until the milk reduces to half its original quantity. Keep stirring occasionally.

Add 250 grams of sugar to the reduced milk and mix well. Cook for another 10-15 minutes, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.

Add 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder and a pinch of saffron strands (optional) to the mixture. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.

Grease a square or rectangular pan with ghee. Pour the milk mixture into the greased pan and spread it evenly. Allow it to cool down to room temperature.

Once cooled, refrigerate the milk cake for at least 2 hours or until it sets completely.

Cut the milk cake into square or rectangular pieces and serve chilled.
