Peel the 1 kg ripe mango and extract its pulp. Sieve the pulp to remove any fibers.
In a deep pan, combine the mango pulp with an equal quantity of water. Cook the mixture over medium heat.
In a separate saucepan, prepare the sugar syrup by boiling 200 g of sugar with a little water. Continue boiling until the syrup slightly thickens.
Gradually add the sugar syrup to the mango mixture, stirring continuously to combine well.
Pour 1 L of milk into the mango mixture, mixing well to incorporate.
Keep the mixture boiling over medium heat until it thickens to your desired consistency.
Decorate the Mango Kheer with 2 tablespoons of chopped nuts and serve.
