Brew 30 ml of espresso using an espresso machine or a stovetop espresso maker.
Heat 150 ml of milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it reaches a temperature of 65-70°C. Do not let it boil.
Froth the heated milk using a milk frother or by vigorously whisking it until it becomes frothy and doubles in volume.
Pour the brewed espresso into a 250 ml cup.
Gently pour the frothy milk over the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon. Once the cup is almost full, spoon the remaining foam on top of the latte.
Optionally, you can sprinkle some cocoa powder or cinnamon on top for added flavor.
