Jackfruit Chips
Jackfruit chips are a delicious and crunchy snack made from ripe jackfruit. These chips are a popular treat in India, especially in the southern region, and are perfect for satisfying your cravings for something crispy and slightly sweet. Ingredients: Jackfruit, Coconut oil, Bura, Salt

Choose a ripe jackfruit and cut it into half. Remove the skin and extract the fruit pods.

Slice the fruit pods into thin, even pieces (about 2-3 mm thickness).

In a deep frying pan, heat oil (preferably coconut oil) to a medium-high temperature (around 180°C).

Carefully place the jackfruit slices into the hot oil, ensuring they don't overlap. Fry them in batches if needed.

Fry the jackfruit slices until they turn golden brown and crispy. This may take around 5-7 minutes. Keep turning the slices occasionally for even cooking.

Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried jackfruit chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

Sprinkle a pinch of salt and/or powdered sugar (optional) over the chips while they are still hot.

Allow the jackfruit chips to cool completely before storing them in an airtight container.
