Take 2 ripe guavas, wash them thoroughly, and chop them into small cubes (approximately 1 cm in size). Remove the seeds if they are too hard.
In a mixing bowl, add 500 grams of fresh, thick curd (yogurt) and whisk it until smooth.
Add the chopped guava pieces to the whisked curd.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of roasted cumin powder, 1/4 teaspoon of black salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of red chili powder to the mixture. You can adjust the spices according to your taste.
Mix all the ingredients well, ensuring that the guava pieces are evenly coated with the spiced curd.
Refrigerate the Guava Raita for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend well.
Garnish with a few fresh mint leaves or coriander leaves before serving.
