Ginger Fried Rice
Ginger fried rice is a flavorful and aromatic dish that combines the zesty taste of ginger with the comforting warmth of perfectly cooked rice. Rinse 250 grams of basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 30 minutes. Drain the water and set the rice aside.

In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and let them crackle.

Add 1 tablespoon of finely chopped ginger and 2-3 finely chopped green chilies. Sauté for a minute until the ginger turns golden brown.

Add 1 finely chopped onion and cook until it becomes translucent.

Add the soaked and drained rice to the pan and gently stir to mix it with the ginger and onion mixture.

Add 500 ml of water, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Stir gently and bring the mixture to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the rice cook for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is fully cooked and the water is absorbed.

Remove the pan from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Fluff the rice gently with a fork.

Garnish with 2 tablespoons of chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
