Boil 2 eggs in a saucepan for 10-12 minutes until hard-boiled. Remove from heat, let them cool, and then peel the eggs.
In a mixing bowl, mash the boiled eggs using a fork. Add 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise. Mix well to combine.
Lightly toast 4 slices of bread on a tawa or toaster until golden brown.
Spread the egg mixture evenly on 2 slices of toasted bread. Place a few lettuce leaves and 2 slices of tomato on top of the egg mixture.
Cover with the remaining 2 slices of toasted bread, pressing gently to hold the sandwich together.
Cut each sandwich diagonally into two halves and serve immediately.
