Custard Apple Shrikhand is a delicious and creamy Indian dessert made with custard apple pulp and thick yogurt. Take 500 grams of fresh custard apples, remove the seeds and scoop out the pulp. Keep the pulp aside.

Take 1 kg of thick yogurt (preferably hung curd) and place it in a muslin cloth. Tie the cloth and hang it over a bowl for 3-4 hours to drain out the excess whey.

In a mixing bowl, combine the custard apple pulp and the thick yogurt.

Add 150 grams of powdered sugar to the mixture and mix well until the sugar dissolves completely.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder and a pinch of saffron strands soaked in 1 tablespoon of warm milk. Mix well to incorporate the flavors.

Refrigerate the custard apple shrikhand for at least 2 hours before serving.

Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios before serving.
