Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Roll out 250 grams of puff pastry into a thin sheet and cut it into 2 cm wide strips.

Grease the cream roll moulds with a little butter or oil.

Wrap the puff pastry strips around the moulds, overlapping the edges slightly to ensure they hold their shape.

Place the wrapped moulds on a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the puff pastry turns golden brown.

Remove the tray from the oven and let the rolls cool down for a few minutes before gently removing them from the moulds.

In a large bowl, whip 200 ml of heavy cream with 50 grams of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence until stiff peaks form.

Fill a piping bag with the whipped cream and pipe it into the cooled pastry rolls.
