Boil 200 grams of pasta (penne or fusilli) in a large pot of salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large pan, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 1 finely chopped onion and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.

Add 1 cup of chopped vegetables (such as bell peppers, mushrooms, or broccoli) or 200 grams of cooked chicken or shrimp. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender or the protein is cooked through.

Pour in 1 cup of fresh cream and bring the mixture to a simmer. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

Stir in the cooked pasta and mix well, ensuring the pasta is evenly coated with the cream sauce.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or basil and grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
