Chowmein
Chowmein is a delicious and popular Indo-Chinese dish made with stir-fried noodles, vegetables, and a blend of flavorful sauces. It's a perfect meal for any time of the day. Ingredients: Plain noodles, Ginger, Garlic, Cabbage, Spring onion, Red chilli sauce, Capsicum, Onion, Soy sauce, Tomato sauce, Vinegar, Carrot, Cooking oil

Boil 200 grams of noodles in a large pot of water with a pinch of salt until they are cooked al dente. Drain the noodles and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup, 1 tablespoon of red chili sauce, and 1 teaspoon of vinegar. Set aside.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large wok or pan over medium-high heat. Add 1 teaspoon of finely chopped garlic and 1 teaspoon of finely chopped ginger. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.

Add 1 thinly sliced onion, 1 thinly sliced carrot, 1 thinly sliced bell pepper, and 100 grams of shredded cabbage to the wok. Stir-fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes until they are slightly tender but still crunchy.

Add the cooked noodles and the prepared sauce mixture to the wok. Toss everything together until the noodles and vegetables are well coated with the sauce.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously to prevent the noodles from sticking to the wok. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper, if needed.

Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and serve hot.
