Chicken Alfredo

In a large pot, boil water with a pinch of salt and cook 250 grams of pasta (preferably fettuccine) according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.

Cut 500 grams of boneless, skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.

In a large pan, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink in the center, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon of butter and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add 1 cup of heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the cream thickens slightly.

Stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce becomes smooth.

Add the cooked chicken and pasta to the sauce, tossing well to coat everything evenly.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
