In another bowl, whisk together 3 large eggs, 250 ml of whole milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, whisking until a smooth batter is formed.
Remove the pits from 400 grams of fresh cherries and place them evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Pour the batter over the cherries, ensuring they are evenly covered.
Bake the clafoutis in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the clafoutis to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving warm.
