Grate 200 grams of your preferred cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella) and set aside.
Heat a non-stick tawa or pan over medium heat.
Place one 8-inch flour tortilla on the heated tawa and cook for about 30 seconds until it becomes slightly warm and pliable.
Sprinkle half of the grated cheese evenly over half of the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edge.
Fold the other half of the tortilla over the cheese, pressing gently with a spatula to seal the edges.
Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Remove the quesadilla from the tawa and let it cool for a minute before cutting it into wedges.
Repeat the process with the remaining tortilla and cheese.
Serve the cheese quesadillas with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole for dipping.
