Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Prepare the pizza dough by mixing 500 grams of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and 1 packet (7 grams) of instant yeast. Gradually add 300 ml of warm water and knead the dough until it's smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to form a 12-inch pizza base. Transfer it to a greased pizza pan or baking tray.
In a pan, melt 100 grams of unsalted butter and add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the pizza base, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle 200 grams of grated mozzarella cheese and 100 grams of grated cheddar cheese over the garlic butter.
Add your desired toppings, such as sliced onions, bell peppers, olives, or mushrooms.
Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and then slice and serve.
