Butter Garlic Naan
Butter garlic naan is a delicious and aromatic Indian flatbread, perfect for scooping up your favorite curries and gravies. The soft, fluffy texture combined with the rich flavors of butter and garlic make it an irresistible accompaniment to any meal. In a large mixing bowl, combine 500 grams of all-purpose flour (maida), 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of baking powder.

In a separate bowl, mix 200 ml of warm milk with 1 teaspoon of active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

Gradually add the milk-yeast mixture to the flour mixture, and knead until a soft, smooth dough forms. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and continue kneading for another 5 minutes.

Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 2 hours, or until it doubles in size.

Preheat your oven to 250°C and place a baking tray inside to heat up.

Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball. Flatten each ball and roll it out into an oval shape, about 5-6 mm thick.

In a small bowl, mix 4 tablespoons of melted butter with 4 minced garlic cloves.

Brush each naan with the butter-garlic mixture and place them on the hot baking tray.

Bake the naans for 8-10 minutes, or until they puff up and turn golden brown.

Remove the naans from the oven and brush them with more butter-garlic mixture. Serve hot.
