Boil 250 ml of water in a kettle or saucepan.
Add 1 teaspoon (2 grams) of black tea leaves or 1 tea bag to a teapot or cup.
Pour the boiling water over the tea leaves or tea bag.
Allow the tea to steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
Strain the tea leaves or remove the tea bag.
Optionally, add sugar, honey, or lemon to taste, and serve hot.
