Soak 20-25 almonds (badam) in water for 6-8 hours or overnight. After soaking, peel the skin off the almonds.
In a blender, add the peeled almonds, 500 ml of chilled milk, 3-4 tablespoons of sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder. You can also add a few strands of saffron for added flavor and color.
Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy. If the shake is too thick, you can add more milk to adjust the consistency.
Pour the badam shake into glasses and garnish with some chopped almonds or pistachios. Serve chilled.
