Wash and peel 2 medium-sized apples. Grate them and set aside.
In a bowl, take 500 grams of fresh, thick curd (yogurt) and whisk it until smooth.
Add the grated apples to the whisked curd.
Add 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of black salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of roasted cumin powder to the mixture. Mix well.
Refrigerate the apple raita for 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving.
Garnish with a few chopped mint leaves and a pinch of roasted cumin powder before serving.
