Apple Kheer
Apple Kheer is a delicious and creamy Indian dessert made with grated apples, milk, and sugar, flavored with cardamom and garnished with nuts. It's a perfect treat for festive occasions or family gatherings. Ingredients: Apple, Milk, Ghee, Almonds, Sugar, Cashews, Cardamom powder

Wash, peel, and grate 2 medium-sized apples (about 300 grams) and set aside.

In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat 1 liter of full-fat milk on medium flame. Keep stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom.

Once the milk comes to a boil, reduce the flame and let it simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.

Add the grated apples to the milk and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add 100 grams of sugar to the mixture and stir well. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the sugar dissolves completely and the kheer thickens.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder and mix well.

In a separate pan, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee and roast a handful of chopped almonds and cashews until golden brown.

Add the roasted nuts to the apple kheer and mix well.

Turn off the flame and let the kheer cool down to room temperature. You can serve it warm or chilled.
