Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large bowl, whisk together 1 litre of full-fat milk, 200 grams of condensed milk, and 200 grams of sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Add 6 beaten eggs to the milk mixture and whisk until well combined.

Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder.

Grease a baking dish with 1 tablespoon of ghee and pour the custard mixture into the dish.

Sprinkle a handful of chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, and pistachios) on top of the custard mixture.

Place the baking dish in a larger tray filled with water to create a water bath.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes or until the custard is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
