Take 4 large pomegranates and extract the juice out of them. You should have around 500 ml of pomegranate juice.
In a pan, add 200 grams of sugar and 250 ml of water. Heat it on a medium flame until the sugar completely dissolves.
Once the sugar is dissolved, add the pomegranate juice to the pan and mix well. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, turn off the flame and let the mixture cool down to room temperature.
Once cooled, pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.
After about 2 hours, when the mixture starts to freeze around the edges, take it out and stir it vigorously with a fork. Break up any frozen sections.
Repeat this process every 2 hours for about 6-8 hours until the sorbet is frozen.
Once the sorbet is ready, scoop it out into serving bowls and serve immediately.
