Start by washing 500 grams of ripe guavas thoroughly under running water.
Cut the guavas into halves and scoop out the seeds. You can keep some seeds if you prefer a bit of crunch in your juice.
Add the guava pieces into a blender, add 1 cup of water and blend until smooth.
Strain the blended guava through a sieve to remove any remaining seeds and pulp.
Add 2 tablespoons of sugar to the strained juice and stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved. You can adjust the sugar according to your taste.
Add 1 litre of chilled water to the juice and mix well.
Serve the guava juice chilled with ice cubes.
