Choose 4 medium-sized apples, wash them thoroughly, and remove the core without cutting through the bottom.
In a bowl, mix 50 grams of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, and 50 grams of softened butter.
Fill the hollowed apples with this mixture and place them in a baking dish.
Pour 250 ml of boiling water into the bottom of the baking dish.
Bake the apples in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the apples are cooked through and tender.
Serve the baked apples warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
