Peel, core, and chop 1 kg of apples into small pieces.

In a large pot, combine the chopped apples, 100 grams of sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Add 250 ml of water and bring the mixture to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the apples are soft.

Use a potato masher or a blender to mash the cooked apples until they reach your desired consistency. If you prefer a smoother apple sauce, you can strain it through a sieve.
