Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Take 500 grams of fresh strawberries, wash them thoroughly, remove the stems and cut them into halves.
In a bowl, mix the strawberries with 100 grams of granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon of cornflour. Set it aside.
For the crumble, in a separate bowl, mix 200 grams of all-purpose flour, 100 grams of granulated sugar, and 100 grams of cold, diced butter. Rub the butter into the flour and sugar until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
Pour the strawberry mixture into a baking dish and evenly spread the crumble mixture on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown and the strawberry filling is bubbling.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Strawberry Crumble warm, perhaps with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
