Take 500 grams of grated coconut and keep it aside.
In a pan, add 250 grams of jaggery and heat it on a medium flame until it melts completely.
Add the grated coconut to the melted jaggery and mix well. Cook this mixture on a low flame for about 15-20 minutes until it thickens.
Once the mixture is thick enough, turn off the flame and let it cool for a while.
After the mixture has cooled down, take small portions of it and shape them into round balls or laddus.
Let these laddus cool down completely before serving.
