Boil 500 grams of spaghetti in a large pot of salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.

In a large pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 2 thinly sliced zucchinis and sauté until they are soft and slightly golden.

Add 2 cloves of minced garlic to the pan and sauté for another minute until the garlic is fragrant.

Zest and juice 1 large lemon, add both to the pan. Stir well to combine.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan. Toss well to combine, adding a little pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with 50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese and a handful of chopped fresh basil before serving.
