Soak 10-12 pieces of kokum in 1 cup of warm water for 30 minutes.

After soaking, squeeze the kokum in the water itself to extract the juice and discard the kokum.

Grind 1 cup of freshly grated coconut with 1-2 green chillies and 2-3 cloves of garlic to a smooth paste.

Extract the coconut milk by squeezing this paste through a muslin cloth. Repeat this process twice to get more coconut milk.

Mix the kokum extract and coconut milk together. Add salt as per taste.

Finally, garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve chilled.
