Start by boiling 500 grams of penne pasta in a large pot of salted water until it is al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.

In a large pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 2 medium-sized zucchinis, thinly sliced, and sauté until they are tender and slightly browned.

Add the cooked penne pasta to the pan with the zucchini. Stir in 200 grams of pesto sauce and mix well until the pasta and zucchini are well coated.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
