Take 4 slices of bread and apply butter on one side of each slice.

On the non-buttered side of two slices, place 50 grams of cheese each.

Slice 1 medium-sized tomato and place the slices on top of the cheese.

Pluck 10-12 fresh basil leaves, wash them and place them on top of the tomato slices.

Cover with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.

Heat a tawa or griddle on medium heat. Place the sandwiches on the tawa and cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.

Flip the sandwiches and cook until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes more.

Cut the sandwiches into halves and serve hot.
