Take 200 grams of sweet corn kernels and grind them coarsely in a mixer.
In a bowl, add the coarsely ground corn, 50 grams of finely chopped onions, 2 finely chopped green chillies, a handful of chopped coriander leaves, 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, and salt as per taste.
Add 100 grams of gram flour (besan) and mix well. If the mixture is too dry, add a little water. The mixture should be of dropping consistency.
Heat oil in a kadai on medium flame. Once the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of the corn mixture into the oil.
Fry the fritters until they turn golden brown on all sides. Remove them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.
