Clean 1 kg of chicken and cut it into pieces.
To prepare the marinade, blend together 100 grams of coriander leaves, 50 grams of mint leaves, 10 green chillies, 1 tablespoon of cumin seeds, 6 cloves of garlic, a 1-inch piece of ginger, 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds, 1 inch of cinnamon, 4 cloves, and the juice of 1 lemon in a mixer grinder until it forms a smooth paste.
Marinate the chicken pieces with this green paste and let it rest for at least 2 hours.
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and add the marinated chicken pieces. Cook on medium heat until the chicken is fully cooked and the marinade forms a thick coating on the chicken.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
