Take 2 cups of jowar flour in a bowl. Add salt to taste and mix well.

Boil 1.5 cups of water in a pan. Once the water starts boiling, slowly add it to the jowar flour while continuously stirring to avoid lumps.

Once the dough is cool enough to handle, knead it well for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes soft and pliable.

Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.

Dust the rolling surface with some jowar flour and roll out each ball into a thin rotti of about 6-7 inches in diameter.

Heat a tawa on medium flame. Once hot, place the rotti on it and cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side or until it puffs up and brown spots appear.

Remove from the tawa and serve hot with a side dish of your choice.
