Veg Schezwan Momos
Veg Schezwan Momos are delicious, spicy, and flavourful steamed dumplings filled with a mix of vegetables and tossed in a tangy Schezwan sauce. Ingredients: Cabbage, Maida, Carrot, Spring onion, Salt, Black pepper powder, Soy sauce, Cooking oil, Capsicum, Green chilli, Garlic, Schezwan sauce, Ginger

In a large bowl, mix 200 grams of all-purpose flour (maida) with a pinch of salt and 1 tablespoon of oil. Gradually add water and knead it into a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and add 1 teaspoon of finely chopped garlic, 1 teaspoon of finely chopped ginger, and 1 finely chopped green chilli. Sauté for a minute.

Add 1 cup of finely chopped cabbage, 1/2 cup of grated carrot, 1/2 cup of finely chopped capsicum, and 1/4 cup of finely chopped spring onions. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are soft.

Season the vegetable mixture with salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper powder, and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. Mix well and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Divide the dough into small equal portions and roll each portion into a thin circle.

Place a spoonful of the vegetable mixture in the center of each circle. Fold and pleat the edges to seal the momos.

Steam the momos in a steamer for 10-12 minutes until they are cooked through.

In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and add 2 tablespoons of Schezwan sauce. Toss the steamed momos in the sauce for 2-3 minutes until they are well coated.
