Veg Cheese Momos
Veg cheese momos are delicious steamed dumplings filled with a scrumptious mix of vegetables and cheese, making them a perfect snack or appetizer.
Ingredients: Maida, Cabbage, Paneer, Cheese, Carrot, Capsicum, Salt, Garlic, Black pepper powder, Onion, Ginger, Cooking oil

In a large bowl, mix 200 grams of all-purpose flour (maida) with a pinch of salt and 1 tablespoon of oil. Gradually add water and knead it into a smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.

In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and add 1 finely chopped onion, 1 teaspoon of grated ginger, and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Sauté until the onions turn translucent.

Add 1 finely chopped carrot, 1/4 cup of finely chopped cabbage, 1/4 cup of finely chopped capsicum, and 1/4 cup of grated paneer. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

Add salt to taste, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper powder, and 1/4 cup of grated processed cheese. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the filling cool down.

Divide the dough into small equal-sized balls. Roll each ball into a thin, round wrapper using a rolling pin.

Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each wrapper. Fold the edges and pleat them together to seal the momos.

Grease a steamer with oil and place the momos in it, ensuring they don't touch each other. Steam the momos for 15-20 minutes until they are cooked through.

Serve the veg cheese momos hot with spicy tomato chutney or soy sauce.
