Prawns Biryani
Prawns Biryani is a delicious and aromatic seafood dish that combines succulent prawns with fragrant basmati rice and a blend of exotic spices.
Ingredients: Prawns, Basmati rice, Onion, Coriander, Clove, Bay leaf, Mint leaves, Biryani masala, Tomato, Salt, Cooking oil, Ginger garlic paste, Green cardamom, Green chilli, Turmeric powder, Cinnamon stick, Red chilli powder

Wash and soak 250 grams of basmati rice for 30 minutes, then drain the water.

Marinate 500 grams of cleaned and deveined prawns with 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste, and salt for 20 minutes.

In a deep pan, heat 3 tablespoons of oil and add 1 finely sliced large onion. Fry until golden brown.

Add 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste, 2 chopped green chilies, and 1 chopped tomato. Cook until the tomatoes turn soft.

Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon biryani masala, and salt to taste. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add the marinated prawns and cook for 5-7 minutes until they turn opaque.

In a separate pot, boil 4 cups of water with 1 teaspoon salt, 1 bay leaf, 2 cloves, 2 green cardamoms, and 1-inch cinnamon stick. Add the soaked rice and cook until it's 70% done. Drain the water.

Layer the cooked prawns and rice in the deep pan, starting with the prawns and ending with a layer of rice. Sprinkle 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves and 1/4 cup chopped mint leaves between the layers.

Cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid and cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes until the rice is fully cooked and the flavors have melded together.

Gently mix the prawns and rice before serving.
