Cut 125 grams of paneer into small cubes and set aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium heat. Add 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds and let them crackle.
Add 1/2 finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
Add 1 cup of tomato puree, 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of garam masala. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add 1/2 cup of water and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the paneer cubes and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Stir in 1/4 cup of fresh cream and cook for 1 more minute.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice for your romantic dinner.
